ADWARE

Placing a banner in your software may be a way to earn some money from trial or freeware versions.
At present all Adware companies are near to bankrupt. With the spyware paranoia the users don’t like to install a program that contains banners.
Don’t expect to get fantastic incomes unless you have a very popular Internet application, however, there are other benefits. For example the adware companies usually supply an online-manager where you can read some interesting statistics (unique users per day, clicks, exposures, new users...).
Usually the adware companies pay by click-through (a little amount each time the banner is clicked by the user) and/or by impressions (each time an ad is displayed for N seconds).
Currently there are the following adware companies:
- Adaboy (for games only)
- Ever Ad
- Natasoft GAP* (strange policy)
- Radiate - Aureate (are they closing?)
